Initiating a spirometry test with the direct-start workflow

In the orders menu, you process the orders. The orders menu is similar to the
patients menu. However, you cannot edit patient data in the orders menu.
1 Choose Orders.
2 Select an order with the status Pending.
3 Choose Test.
4 Perform spirometry with the patient.
5 To view a completed order, choose View.
6 To delete an order, choose Delete.
7 Repeat steps 2 to 5 until you have completed all pending orders.
8 Choose Close.
 All results are transmitted to your EMR system.

With the direct-start workflow, you initiate spirometry from your EMR system.
All plug-ins support this workflow.
Prerequisite
You have configured any one of the available plug-ins.

1 Launch your EMR system.
2 Choose the external devices menu.
3 Select either EasyOne Connect or EasyOne Pro/LAB and confirm.
 EasyOne Connect is launched automatically.
 In EasyOne Connect or on EasyOne Pro/LAB, the screen for entering
patient data is displayed.
4 CAUTION! False diagnosis: The predicted values and the system
interpretation are based on the patient demographic data. Therefore,
wrong patient data can cause false results. Enter patient data
meticulously. Double-check that you have entered the patient data
correctly.
Fill out those fields that are marked with an asterisk (*).
 You cannot complete adding patient data without filling out these
fields.
5 In all other fields, enter additional patient data if necessary.
6 Choose OK.
7 Choose the desired test and confirm.
8 Perform spirometry with the patient.
