AIR CONDITIONER BElT TENsION(AB)

(1) adjusting Bolt (2) lock nut
(a) adjusting Belt Tension
1. stop the engine and apply the
parking brake.
2. press the belt between the pul-
ley with force of 22.04 lbs. (10 kg)
and adjust the belt tension accord-
ing to the below specification.

Tension of air conditioner belt (A)
when press the middle point of the belt :
9~10 mm (0.35~0.39 in.)
3. replace the damaged belt.
CAUTION
Stop the engine before checking
air conditioner belt.

ClEANING AIR CONDITIONER

(1) net (2) condenser
1. open the hood.
2. remove the net and clean it.
CAUTION
•
M a k e s u r e t o s t o p e n g i n e
when checking. If cooler fan is
blocked by dirt, clean with a soft
brush or cloth using tab water.
