Can I use a USB headset or a Bluetooth
headset with a remote station PC?
Can you listen to side tone when keying in CW
mode?
The port number used by the TS-890S seems
to be TCP: 60000 for command
communication, UDP: 60001 for voice
communication, but can I change it?
Answer
Although you can use a USB headset or a
Bluetooth headset, USB headset and
Bluetooth headset are assumed to take time
to standby because there is unavoidable
delay. If delay is a problem, using USB
headset or Bluetooth headset is not
recommended.
It is possible to hear the side tone.
You cannot change the port number used by
the TS-890S.
