Extra 2.5-inch HDD Cage
You can use eight hard disk drives when the extra 2.5-inch HDD cage N8154-52 is installed.
•
To use the extra cage, prepare the optional SAS/SATA cables K410-240(00) and K410-204(00).

1.17.1 Installation
Install the extra 2.5-inch HDD cage by using the following procedure.
1. See Chapter 2 (1.3 Overview of Installation and Removal) for preparations.
2. See Chapter 2 (1.6 Removing the Top Cover) to remove the top cover.
3. Remove the two screws from the
front panel and two screws from
the optical disk drive, and then pull
out the optical disk drive tray.
4. Remove the cover from the optical disk drive.
5. Insert the extra 2.5-inch HDD cage
into the slot, and secure it to the
server chassis with the four
screws removed in step 3.
