This chapter contains start-up instructions.
The instructions are valid for the example supply unit with ACS880-304 +A018 supply
modules. The underlined tasks are needed for certain cases only. The item designations
are given in brackets. They refer to the circuit diagram of the example installation by ABB.

Note: The instructions do not cover all possible cabinet constructions. The designer of the
cabinet-installed drive is responsible for the start-up instructions of the customized
cabinet.
Note: The start-up instructions for functional safety features are not given in this chapter.
The designer of the cabinet-installed drive is responsible for the instructions of testing the
functional safety systems.
