Make sure the lever on the bottom of the logic element is turned to the
closed position.

During CPAR, when you compare your display to one in this manual, make
sure they are exactly the same.

Always listen carefully for the correct alarm sequence (sound, pause, sound
again, and stop) after the Power switch is set to On. (Use option A if this
does not occur.)

Choose one of the four options A through D listed below.
Go to the step indicated. Answer the question with a Yes or No and follow
the arrow to another step or recovery procedure. Continue through the
CPAR until you reach a solution to your problem.
If you are told to replace two elements, the first one listed is the one that is
most likely failing and will correct your problem over 90% of the time.
CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING O THROUGH Q.
Your problem occurred after the Power switch
was set to On and before the divider scan line
(Figure 1) appeared. (Figure 1 may still be
displayed.)

Your problem occurred with the divider scan
line displayed (Figure 2), the ready indicator
may or may not be on, or after you signed on
to the system.
Your problem occurs intermittently (now and
then).
You are not sure when your problem occurred.
Perform the following:
1.
Set the Power switch to Off and wait five
seconds.
2.
Press and hold any key and set Power
switch to On. (You may need to know
which key you pressed later.)
3.
Hold the key for about ten seconds. —
Go to 4.35.
Go to 4.37.
