Fatal Errors

Service
Errors are graded according to their severity and are classified as Fatal
Errors, Alarms and Operational Indications. The type of error that has
occurred can be established from the error information on the meter as
follows:

When two or more errors occur simultaneously, the hexadecimal code
values are added.
Errors that prevent the meter from performing the measuring function are
classified as Fatal Errors.
When a Fatal Error occurs, the meter must be changed. Refer to Chapter 4
for how to Install / De-install a meter,
Fatal Errors are shown on the display and in the event log (depending on
parameter settings) as follows:
