Envelope Parameters (Front Panel)

—Sets the attack time of the envelope. The higher the
Attack: 0...127
setting, the slower the attack time and the longer it takes for the filter to
open from the level set with the filter
knob to the level set by the
cutoff
filter envelope amount. Percussive sounds typically have sharp (short)
attacks.
—Sets the decay time of the envelope. After a sound
Decay: 0...127
reaches the filter frequency set at its attack stage,
controls how
decay
quickly the filter then transitions to the cutoff frequency set with the
knob. The higher the setting, the longer the decay. Percussive
sustain
sounds, such as synth bass, typically have shorter decays (and a generous
amount of low-pass filter resonance).
—Sets the filter cutoff frequency for the sustained
Sustain: 0...127
portion of the sound. The sound will stay at this filter frequency for as
long as a note is held on the keyboard.
—Sets the release time of the envelope. This controls
Release: 0...127
how quickly the filter closes after a note is released.
—Allows key velocity to influence filter cutoff
Velocity On/Off: On, Off
frequency. If on, the harder you play, the more the filter will open and the
brighter the sound will be. If off, key velocity will not affect the filter.
This control allows for more touch-sensitive sounds.
—Sets the amount of modulation from the filter
Env Amount: -127...127
envelope to the filter's cutoff frequency. Any setting above zero means
that each time you strike a key, the filter envelope controls how the filter
opens and closes. Higher amounts more dramatically affect the cutoff
frequency. This control is bipolar. Positive settings produce standard
behavior. Negative settings invert the envelope.
