Installing the Backplane

ACP-5260 supports backplanes of up to 20 slots. To install the backplane, please
refer to Figure 2.4 and proceed as follows:
1.
Remove the top rear chassis cover, and then dismantle the hold-down clamp
and the blower units by removing the four screws.
2.
Put the backplane in the proper location and attach the supplied EMI spring
shielding with the screws provided. Then fasten it onto the chassis.
3.
For the PICMG 1.0 BACKPLANE, connect the orange-white wire from connec-
tor "HCN1" on the backplane to connector "CN21" on the CPU card.
4.
Connect the 24-pin or 20-pin ATX power connector and the 4-pin +12 V power
connector from the power supply to the backplane. (For the PICMG 1.0 BACK-
PLANE, the 4-pin +12 V power connector is connected to the CPU card.)
5.
Replace the hold-down clamp and the blower units, and fasten them to the
chassis.
6.
Return the top rear chassis cover and fasten it.
