State
Fans are off or booting up.
All fans are operating normally.
One fan has failed.
One or more of the following conditions has
occurred:
• Temperature is out of range.
• The fan controller has failed.
• Two or more fans have failed.
Power off.
Blinking. Device in bootup process.
Solid. Testing.
Blinking. Image starts running.
Solid. Functional.
Solid. Processor in reset.
Blinking. Indicates that the SSA is in the
process of shutting down.
Alternating (67% on, 33% off). Indicates a
shutdown is complete. The indication will
hold for 60 seconds then automatically
restart.
Device not receiving power from power
supply.
Functional. Power supply operating
normally.
Indicates loss of power supply redundancy.
Solid. Indicates, in PoE mode, that two
625W power supplies are installed.
Blinking. Indicates, in PoE mode, that one
625W power supply is installed.
Solid. Indicates, in PoE mode, that two
1000W power supplies are installed.
Blinking. Indicates, in PoE mode, that one
1000W power supply is installed.
Indicates, in PoE mode, that 625W and
1000W power supplies are installed.
Recommended Action

Check the CLI to determine the exact condition of
the fans. Use the show system command.
