1. Set the "OUTPUT" switch to "BARS".
2. Click the "5. Recording Current Setting" of the VTR
adjustment software.

1. Set the "OUTPUT" switch to "BARS".
2. Record the color bar signal.
3. Click the "6. RP Error Rate Confirmation" of the VTR
adjustment software
4. Playback the self recorded tape.
5. Confirm that the 50M L-ch error rate is in the
specification as shown figure.
6. If the error rate is in the specification, click "YES".
7. If the error rate is out of specification, click "NO" and
adjust the slider so that the error rate is in the
specification. (select value "192" or "213" or "235" or
"255" or "149" or "128")
Click ">>" and adjust the slider again.
Click "NO".
8. Confirm that the 50M R-ch error rate is in the
specification as shown figure.
9. If the error rate is in the specification, click "YES".
10. If the error rate is out of specification, click "NO" and
adjust the slider so that the error rate is in the
specification. (select value "192" or "213" or "235" or
"255" or "149" or "128")
Click ">>" and adjust the slider again.
Click "NO".
11. Confirm that the 25M R-ch error rate is in the
specification as shown figure.
12. If the error rate is in the specification, click "YES".
13. If the error rate is out of specification, click "NO" and
adjust the slider so that the error rate is in the
specification. (select value "192" or "213" or "235" or
"255" or "149" or "128")
Click ">>" and adjust the slider again.
Click "NO".
14. Confirm that the 25M L-ch error rate is in the
specification as shown figure.
15. If the error rate is in the specification, click "YES".
16. If the error rate is out of specification, click "NO" and
adjust the slider so that the error rate is in the
specification. (select value "192" or "213" or "235" or
"255" or "149" or "128")
Click ">>" and adjust the slider again.
Click "NO".

1. Set the "OUTPUT" switch to "BARS".
2. Click the "7. Head Clogging Detection Level
Adjustment L" of the VTR adjustment software.
3. Record the color bar signal.
4. Connect a scope to TP1 and TP2 (Trigger) and adjust
"VAL" of volt/div. of oscilloscope so that the level of
envelope becomes 5 unit (div.) of scale of the
oscilloscope.
5. Click "OK".
6. Adjust the slider so that the level of envelope becomes
2 unit (div.) of scale of the oscilloscope.
7. Click ">>".
8. Adjust the slider so that the level of envelope becomes
2 unit (div.) of scale of the oscilloscope.
9. Click ">>".
10. Connect a scope to TP6 and TP2 (Trigger).
11. Adjust the slider so that the high and low period of the
signal of TP6 appear in the high or low period of the
signal of TP2 as sown figure.
12. Click ">>".
