Install Heated Hose

To connect a hose to a fluid control device or heated
manifold.
1. Install fitting and heated hose onto pump outlet with
the large electrical connector side toward the sys-
tem. Use 2 wrenches to tighten hose. Torque to 45
ft-lbs (61 N•m).
NOTE: See Accessories and Kits, page 89, for avail-
able fittings and heated hoses.

2. Wrap exposed fittings on the pump outlet with
Nomex insulation and secure insulation using fiber-
glass tape.
3. Connect large heated hose connector to MZLP.
4. Repeat for any remaining channels.

5. For proper operation, cables must be plugged into
zones 1–2 and 3–4 at all times.
6. Install cap on any unused MZLP electrical connec-
tors.
