SECONDARY AIR INLET
The secondary air intake is located between the top of the cast iron door and the glass. This air flow encourages the combustion of any
unburned material, increases fuel economy and keeps the glass clean.
2.
PLACEMENT AND REPLACEMENT OF ELEMENTS
2.1
BAFFLE PLATE
This model includes two baffle plates: one upper and one lower. The product is normally supplied with the baffles fitted
in position, but are removed & replaced by the following steps:
-
First, remove the vermiculite plates.

Insert the upper baffle plate.

Finally, insert the lower baffle plate.
PLEASE NOTE:
If the baffle plate is not placed (in its proper position), this will cause a very strong draught to the fire box, fast
combustion of fuel and consequent overheating of the equipment.
The following drawing shows its proper position.
2.2
INTERIOR PLATES
The interior of the combustion chamber is lined with vermiculite plates and you should never use the product if the plates are not in position.
In the case of breakage, the plates can be replaced as follows:
-
Lift the lower baffle a few centimetres
-
Take out the plates, starting with the side plate. The plates are supported by the lower baffle
