Un valor superior (mucho tiro), conlleva una combustión demasiado rápida, con la dispersión del calor a través del conducto de humos. Están prohibidos, y por lo tanto perjudican el buen funcionamiento del aparato: fibrocemento, acero galvanizado, superficies interiores ásperas y porosas.
