WARM UP AND STOP ENGINE

Allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature.
CHECK IDLE SPEED jSee page EM-22, 23)
REMOVE COVER (2WD). CAP. FILTER
AND
SEPARATOR FROM DP
ADJUST DP SETTING SPEED
(a)
(2WD)
Using SST, connect terminals TE1 and E1 of the
check connector.

w/ EGA system)
Disconnect the VSV connector.
(c) Race the engine at 3,500 rpm for a few seconds.
(d) Plug the VTV hole with your finger.
(e) Release the throttle valve.
(f}
Check the DP setting speed.
DP setting speed: M/T 1,800 rpm
(w/ Cooling fan OFF}
