Bind cable ties on both ends of a cable. After the bundling, the finished identification plate should be
on top of the cable in horizontal cabling, or on the right side of the cable in vertical cabling. Make
sure the label is facing out, as shown in Figure 66.

Affixing a generic label

The requirements for affixing a generic label are the same as affixing a label on a signal cable. For
more information, see "Affixing a label to a signal cable." For the example of affixed labels,
see Figure 64.
