3.4.10.1 PRIMARY COM PORT PARAMETERS
COM Port
Selects COM Port number (COM 1-4) for the Primary and Secondary COM ports (see Figure 30).
Baud Rate
Selects the communication speed for Primary and Secondary COM Ports.
Data Bits
Selects the number of data bits (7 or 8) transmitted or received for the Primary and Secondary COM Ports.
Parity
Selects transmission or reception of any Parity Bits for the Primary and Secondary COM Ports.
Stop Bits
Selects number of Stop Bits (1 or 2) transmitted or received for the Primary and Secondary COM Ports.
DTR Enable
Used to assert DTR (Data Terminal Ready) line of the RS232 Port when the port is open for the Primary and Secondary COM
Ports.
Mode
See Section 3.4.2.2.
IP Address
IP Address allows selection of an IP Address when IP Port is selected.. The Ethernet-to-RS-232 converter with this IP Address
must have a TCP (Telnet) server enabled.
IP Port #
IP Port Number allows the user to select the IP Port number used if the Port Select has IP Port selected. This is the Port
Number that will be used to make a TCP (Telnet) connection.
Port Select
Port Select allows the user to choose data transmissions and receptions on a specified RS-232 COM port or an Ethernet
adapter via TCP (Telnet).
Com Port - System data will be transmitted and received using the specified RS-232 COM port.
IP Port - System data will be transmitted and received over the Ethernet to a specified IP address and port number using
the TCP (Telnet) protocol. Select this option if an Ethernet to RS232 converter is implemented for the unit under test.
OIP Port - Feature not accessible with standard Integra-TR.
