Interface (or Termination)

An interface is an object that has a corresponding entry in the

physical or a logical interface.

A physical interface can be supported by the following underlie layers:

MAU: in this case, the interface is connected to a physical port, and the Ethernet interface of

the stack is called a local interface ( ot supported for 5.0)

SDH: in this case, the interface has a related AP in the SO ET Matrix, and the Ethernet

interface of the stack is called a remote interface

A logical interface is an interface that is stacked over another (physical or logical) interface

The interface that is supported is of type GFP.
