1+1 LAG naming rules

The following considerations apply to proposed naming rules for Ethernet Link
Aggregations:
• Data Client purposes field keeps both the same range and syntax as in referred
document for aming Rule for 4G node
– L bits allow to decode the hierarchical level; L bits are set to 00 when an LAG
• Channel field has been removed from the LAG naming rule
• Hierarchical structure (with physical coordinates (rack, subrack, drawer, board))
inside 4G E naming rule with 00 T subfield is replaced from a flat structure
consisting of both Interface Type and Logical Interface Identifier field:
– Interface Type field is filled up with "hard-coded" IA A If Type value (161) for
– Logical Interface Identifier field is filled up with LAG logical identifier: up 256K
