8.5 Alarm messages

The CS66 system will continually check for danger situations
and system faults while the system is running.
When an alarm situation occurs, the Alarm window with an
alarm message will be displayed, and an audible alarm will be
activated.
The CS66 includes voice alarms. These alarms will replace
some of the audible alarms if the function is activated in the
System Configuration dialog (Aux. settings tab). Refer the
separate CS66 Installation manual.
There are three categories of system messages:
Alarm messages are generated when conditions are detected that
critically effect the capability or performance of the system.
You must critically examine all alarm messages to determine their
course and effect.
Warning messages inform you of the occurrence of conditions that
could result in unwanted system response or eventual failure.
These messages inform you of conditions that are noteworthy, but
that have no serious effect on the performance of the system.
An alarm or a warning message is silenced by tapping the
silence icon in the Alarm window.
If an optional COP10/30 is included, the alarm may also be
silenced by tapping the
The audible alarm will sound again and the light start flashing if
another alarm situation is reported.
All alarm messages will remain in the Alarm window until the
reason for the alarm is removed.
