3.5-inch storage drive in the storage drive bay

A 3.5-inch storage drive on your computer might be a 3.5-inch hard disk drive or a 3.5-inch hybrid drive.
Depending on your computer model, one of the following types of storage drive bracket is used in the
storage drive bay:

To remove or install a 3.5-inch storage drive in a type
1. Prepare your computer. See "Preparing your computer and removing the computer cover" on page 63.
2. Locate the storage drive bay. See "Internal storage drives" on page 9.
3. To remove a 3.5-inch storage drive from a type
a. Open the handles on both sides of the storage drive bracket. Disconnect the cables from the storage
drive, and pull out the bracket with the storage drive.
