c. Press the mounting stud downward and turn the mounting stud 90-degree clockwise to secure the
heat sink to the M.2 solid-state drive holder.

9. To install the M.2 solid-state drive holder, align the notches on the M.2 solid-state drive holder with the
slot keys in the M.2 solid-state drive slot. Then, slide the plastic retainer of the holder downward into the
corresponding slot in the front fan assembly. Insert the holder into the slots until the M.2 solid-state drive
is securely seated 1
Note: Do not touch the circuit board of the M.2 solid-state drive holder.
