3 Inspecting Devices Before Power-On
Checking the UPS

1. Check that all bolts are secured for cables. Fasten the bolts that are not properly
secured.
2. Check that the voltage between the mains input neutral wire and the ground cable
is less than 5 V AC.
Checking the Battery Pack

1. Switch on and off all circuit breakers three times. Ensure that they can be switched on and off
smoothly.
2. Check that all bolts are secured for cables. Fasten the bolts that are not properly secured.
3. Switch on the circuit breaker on the battery pack. Check that the voltage between the positive and
negative terminals is greater than 96 V DC. Switch off the circuit breaker on the battery pack after
the test.
4. Check that screws at the ground points of the battery packs are secured. Fasten the screws that
are not properly secured.
Checking the PDU

1. Switch on and off all input circuit breakers three times. Ensure that they can be switched on and
off smoothly.
2. Check that all bolts are secured for cables. Fasten the bolts that are not properly secured.
