Connecting Cables to the Camera

• The sensor mounting arm provides a network cable and a signal cable.
• The signal cable provides two camera signal cables and two smoke sensor signal cables.
• Connect the camera network cable to the PoE power adapter, and connect the camera single cables to
the CCU.
Connect the signal cables to the camera.
Connect the signal cables to the ports
on the CCU according to the labels on
the signal cables.

Connect the network cable to the camera.
1. Place the PoE power adapter on the 17 U cable rack at the
rear of the cabinet.
2. Insert the reserved PDU power plug near the cable rack to
the power adapter.
3. Connect the network cable of the camera to the
Power&Data out port on the PoE power adapter.
4. Connect the network cable reserved for the switch near
the cable rack to the Data in port.
5. Secure the PoE power adapter using cable ties.
