MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
Regular maintenance wilt improve the performance and extend
the life of the powerwasher. See any qualifieddealerfor service.
The powerwasher's warranty doesnot cover itemsthat havebeen
subjected to operator abuse or negligence. To receive full value
from the warranty, the operator must maintain the power washer
as instructed in this manual, including proper storage as detailed
in Winter Storageand Long Term Storage.
NOTE:
Should you havequestions aboutreplacingcomponents
on your powerwasher, please call 1-888-436-3722 for
assistance.
Some adjustmentswill need to be made periodically to properly
maintain your power washer.
All service and adjustments should be made at least once each
season. Follow the requirements in the Maintenance Schedule
chart.
NOTE:
Once a year you shouldclean or replacethe sparkplug, clean
or replace the air filter, and checkthe spraygun and nozzle
extension assemblyfor wear. A new sparkplug and clean air
filter assure properfuel-air mixtureand help your engine run
better and last longer.
MAINTENANCE S CHEDULE
Follow the hourly or calendar intervals, whichever occurs first.
More frequent service is required when operating in adverse
conditions.

PUMP OIL
DONOT attempt any oil maintenanceon this pump. The pump is
pre-lubricatedand sealedfrom the factory, requiringno additional
maintenancefor the life of the pump.
EMISSIONS CONTROL
Maintenance,replacement,or repair of the emissions control
devicesand systemsmay be performedby any non-road engine
repair establishment or individual. However, to obtain "no
charge" emissions control service, the work must be performed
by a factory authorizeddealer.Seethe EmissionsWarranty.
POWER WASHER MAINTENANCE
CleanDebris
Daily or before use, clean accumulated debris from cleaning
system. Keep linkage, spring and controls clean. Keep area
around and behind muffler free from any combustible debris.
Inspectcooling air slots and openingson the power washer.These
openingsmust be kept clean and unobstructed.
Power washer parts should be kept clean to reduce the risk of
overheatingand ignition of accumulated debris.
• Use a damp cloth to wipe exterior surfaces clean.
NOTE:
impropertreatment of powerwashercan damage it and
shortenits life.
• DONOTinsert any objects through cooling slots.
• Use a soft bristle brush to loosen caked on dirt, oil, etc.
• Use a vacuum cleanerto pick up loose dirt and debris.
CHECK A NDCLEAN INLET SCREEN
Examine the screen on the pump's water inlet. Cleanit if the screen
is clogged or replaceit if screen is damaged.
CHECK H IGH PRESSURE HOSES
The high pressure hoses can developleaks from wear, kinking, or
abuse. Inspect the hoses each time before usingthem. Checkfor
cuts, leaks, abrasions or bulging of cover,damage or movement
of couplings. If any of these conditions exist, replace the hose
immediately.
The high pressurestream of water that this equipment
producescan cut throughskin and its underlying
tissues,leadingto seriousinjuryand possible
amputation.
• NEVERrepair high pressure hose. Replaceit.
• Replacement hose rating MUST meet or exceed maximum
pressure rating of unit.
