• Beforestarting the power washer,be sure you are wearing
adequate s afetygoggles.
• NEVER substitute safetyglasses for safetygoggles.
Connectlanceto spray gun (Figure9). Tightenby hand.

7. Turn ON the water, squeeze the trigger to purge the pump
system of air (Figure12).

• NEVER connecthighpressure hoseto lance.
• Keep highpressure hoseconnected t o pumpandspraygunwhile
systemis pressurized.
• Alwaysbecertainspraygun,nozzles andaccessories a recorrectly
attached.
6. Connect high pressure hose to pump (uncoil hose before
connecting to pump or spray gun) (Figure 11). Tighten by
hand.
A.CAUTION!
,_The hose can be damaged if it comesin contactwith a
hot engine or muffler.
HOW TO USE NOZZLES
The quick-connect on the nozzle lance allows you to switch
between different nozzles. Nozzles can be changed while power
washer is running once spray gun trigger is locked in the safety
position. The nozzles vary the pressure and spray pattern as
shown.
Formost effectivecleaning,keepnozzlefrom 8 to 24 inches (20
to 61 cm) away from cleaningsurface.
If you get nozzle too close, especially using a high pressure
nozzle,you may damagesurface being cleaned.
The high pressurestreamof water that this equipment
producescan cut through s kinand its underlying
tissues,leadingto serious injuryand possible
amputation.
• NEVER exchange n ozzles without t hetriggerlockbeing engaged on
thespraygun.
• DONOT twist nozzles whilespraying.
