monoxidecan causeheadache,fatigue, dizziness,
vomiting,confusion, s eizures,nausea,faintingor

Place power washer outdoors in an area that will not accumulate
deadly exhaust gas. NEVERplace power washer where exhaust
gas could accumulate and enter inside or be drawn into a
potentially occupied building. Ensure exhaust gas is kept away
from any windows, doors, ventilation intakes, or other openings
that can allow exhaustgasto collect in a confined area. Prevailing
winds and air currents should be taken into considerationwhen
positioning power washer (Figure20).
• Operate powerwasherONLY outdoors.
• Keep exhaust g asfrom entering a confined area throughwindows,

• NEVER startor run engine indoors or in anenclosed area,EVEN IF

CHECKLIST BEFORE STARTING E NGINE
1. Be sure to read and understandthe OperatorSafety section
and Operationsection before using power washer.
2. Check that oil is at the proper level in the engine crankcase
and that fuel has been added to the fuel tank.
3. Review the unit's assembly and ensure fitting are properly
secured and make surethere are no kinks, cuts, or damageto
high pressure hose.
4. Provide a proper water supply at an adequateflow, clear
screens of debris, and confirm that the system is purged of
air.
5. Confirm unit is secure on levelground and surroundingwork
area is clear.
HOW TO START YOUR POWER WASHER
NOTE:
DONOT run the pumpwithout the water supplyconnected
and turnedon. Damage to equipment resultingfrom failure to
follow this instruction will voidwarranty.
1. Move the fuel valve leverto the ON position (Figure21).
