5.10 Projector PCB's

5.10.1 Cardcage Assembly
The cardcage assembly is located in the light engine compartment. It consists of the PIB, ICP, Link Decrypter
and Backplane. The LEQD is connected on the outside of the cardcage.

1. Remove the front top lid. Refer to

3. Remove the PIB/ICP cover. Refer to
4. Release the security ring by pressing down on the latch located on the inside of the cardcage.
(Figure 5-31) NOTES: 1) Marriage is broken when this latch is toggled. 2) Only Christie authorized
service technicians should remove the security ring.
5. Remove the security ring by pressing down on the latch on the right-side of the cardcage. (Figure 5-32)
