Printer Standard Features
Printer standard features include the following:
Direct thermal or thermal transfer printing
High-resolution 300 dpi printing
On-demand or batch printing
Continuous roll or fan-folded media
Wide media handling capability
Media tear-off bar for on-demand printing
Window with view of ribbon and media supply
Printronix Line Printer Plus (LP+) emulation
Selection of bit-mapped and scaleable fonts
One serial RS–232/RS–422 and one parallel Centronics host interfaces
Programmable I/O for label applicators.
Emulations
The printer comes with Printronix LP+ as standard, which provides direct
compatibility with Printronix P series printers. In addition, Printronix IGP/PGL and
IGP/VGL emulations are optionally available. They provide printer system control
commands along with label formatting commands for text, bar code, graphics
lines and boxes.
Optionally, the Label Matrix for Printronix Label Generation software is available
on diskette for the Windows operating environment. Refer to the
user's manual supplied with each emulation for specific information.
