Baud Rate
Values:
Baud rate is the number of bits, including control bits (start/stop and parity bits)
transferred per second over the interface.
Data Bits
Values:
Serial interfaces support 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-bit transfer of data words. Most use 8-bit
data transfer, but this must match the host computer.
Stop Bits
Values:
Stop bits signal the end of a transferred data word.
Parity
Values:
The host system may send a parity bit with every data word. The parity bit is
used for error checking.
DTR Function
Values:
This selection determines if the DTR and CTS signals are used for flow control.
