4.2.6 Connect RF Antenna Cables

You will need to prepare or secure the RF cables that run between the base station and RF
antenna. Follow the steps below to attach the RF antenna cables to the base station.
1. Connect an RF antenna cable to ANT1 interface on the base station.
2. Connect an RF antenna cable to ANT2 interface on the base station.
3. Later in the installation procedure, you will apply the weatherproof tapes. The completed
antenna connections and weatherproofing are shown in Figure 4-25. Weatherproofing is
covered in section

4.2.7 Power on the Base Station to Check LEDs

With all components installed and connected locally, power on the base station unit by
plugging the power cord into the electrical socket. With power applied, the LEDs on the
bottom of the unit should illuminate, as shown in Figure 4-26 and described in Table 4-1.
