A.6 Installing PMC Cards
The Atlas 250 features and interfaces can be amplified by inserting PMC boards (PCI mezzanine card). The Atlas
250 will support up to 3 cards simultaneously. In order to correctly insert the card, please follow the steps given be-
low. Should you encounter any problems, please contact your usual supplier.
(1) Switch off the device as described in
(2) Remove the device from the workplace and place it in a stable, safe place where it can be easily accessed and
handled.
(3) Open up the device. To do this you need to remove the upper cover which is secured through two screws loc-
ated on the rear panel of the device. A star screwdriver will be needed for this. Keep the screws in a safe place
for subsequent use.
