Products deployed in North America or where FCC Part 15 regulations are applicable for
unlicensed radio equipments, the sections 14.6.1 and 14.6.2 apply.
Brazil Notification – Important Note: This equipment operates as a secondary application,
so it has no rights against harmful interference, even if generated by similar equipment, and
can not cause harmful interference on systems operating as primary applications.
14.6.1 Antenna Choice
The antennas allowed to be deployed with the 150/300 Mb BH-C are shown in Table 17.
14.6.2 Cable Losses
The FCC approval for the product is based on tests with a cable loss between the units of
approximately 1.2dB at 5.8GHz. The use of lower cable losses would result in the installation
being outside the FCC rules.
As an indication, 1.2dB of cable loss corresponds to the following cable lengths excluding
connector losses (source: Times Microwave).
