Zones

A zone is an area secured by a sensing device. You can define up to 40 zones
for each panel account. For each zone, you can specify the type of zone (for
example: interior, perimeter), and can also give it a meaningful description,
such as attic or bedroom.
To access Zones:
1.
In the Panel Tree, select a panel account.
Click Zones below the panel account name.

After modifying the properties, save the configuration (see Section 4.3).

Once you have finished modifying the properties, download the latest
configuration to the wireless panel (see Section 6.3).

Description
Type of zone. You can choose from the following options:
Interior, Perimeter, Delay (default), Fire 24-Hour, 24-Hour
Silent, 24-Hour Audible, and No Secure.
The description of the zone. You can choose from a predefined
list, or you can create up to five custom descriptions.
The type of chime that is sounded when zone options are
changed.
The default is disabled. If No Activity Checks and No Activity
Timer (see Section 5.4) are enabled, checks for inactivity are
performed for this zone.
Select the number of repeated opening events from the zone,
after which the system ignores the zone. The zone is restored
after a manual system reset or automatically after 8 hours.
The default setting is two zone openings.
The option shall require an opening of two zones within a
given time period to start an alarm event sequence. This setting
links between the two zones.
Note: Zone crossing can be of zones with the same
type.
Select the time period between two zones defined in Cross
mode for alarm event. If one linked zone is opened and the
other linked zone is not opened, a zone cross error is sent to
the monitoring station.
The default is 30 seconds.
