RMON Tools

Following are a series of RMON commands, however we recommend using the
Avaya P330 Device Manager.

Show rmon statistics Command

This command shows the RMON statistics counters for a certain interface number
according to the MIB-2 interface table numbering scheme.
The syntax for this command is:
show rmon statistics <Interface Number>
Example:
Cajun_P330-N> show rmon statistics 1026
statistics
Interface 1026 is active, owned by Monitor
Monitors ifEntry.1.1026 which has
Received 26375085 octets, 222536 packets,
154821 broadcast and 53909 multicast packets,
0 undersize and 0 oversize packets,
0 fragments and 0 jabbers,
1 CRC alignment errors and 0 collisions,
# of dropped packet events (due to a lack of resources): 0
# of packets received of length (in octets):
64:94530, 65-127:85124, 128-255:25896,
256-511:10440, 512-1023:6057, 1024-1518:489,

Show rmon history Command

This command shows the most recent RMON history log for a given History Index.
The history index is defined using the rmon history command on Page 107 or
using an RMON management tool.
The syntax for this command is:
show rmon history [<History Index>]
Example:
Cajun_P330-N> show rmon history 1026
history
Entry 1026 is active, owned by amir
