Sicherheitshinweise
Implantate
Bei Patienten mit eingesetzten elektrisch-leitfähi-
gen Metallimplantaten, ist darauf zu achten,
dass bei allen Anwendungen mit HF-Chirurgie
der Stromfluss oder Stromweg des hochfrequen-
ten elektrischen Stroms nicht durch oder über
das Implantat führt. Bei Stromeintritts- und -aus-
trittsstelle von Bio-Gewebe zu Implantat können
durch Stromkonzentration irreparable innere
Verbrennungen verursacht werden.

Sicherheitseinrichtungen

WARNUNG: Sicherheitsabschaltung bei gerä-
tebedingter Fehldosierung
Abweichungen vom Sollwert der jeweils einge-
stellten HF-Ausgangsleistung werden vom Gerät
aus geregelt. Eine unabhängige Sicherheits-
schaltung überwacht die Leistungsabgabe und
schaltet sie ab, wenn das ordnungsgemäße
Schneiden oder Koagulieren nicht mehr gewähr-
leistet ist.
Überwachung der Aktivierungsdauer
Bei Anwendung am Patienten wird der HF-
Generator bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch
jeweils nur kurzzeitig aktiviert. Die Aktivierungs-
zeit des HF-Gerätes wird deshalb überwacht.
Das Überschreiten der maximalen Aktivierungs-
zeit wird durch die Fehlermeldung A-1C auf dem
Display angezeigt und die Leistungsabgabe
wird abgeschaltet. Diese Sicherheitsschaltung
dient dazu, Schäden infolge unbeabsichtigter
Aktivierung der Elektroden zu verringern. Die
Begrenzung der maximalen Aktivierungszeit ist
bei Auslieferung des Gerätes 99 Sekunden. Eine
spezifische Einstellung kann unter
„Anwendungseinstellungen" im Bereich zwischen
einer und 99 Sekunden und „unbegrenzt" vorge-
nommen werden.
Hinweis: Bei unbegrenzter Aktivierung kann das
Gerät irreparabel beschädigt werden.

In the case of patients with electrically conduc-
tive metal implants it must be ensured that with
all applications involving HF surgery the current
flow or current path of the HF electric current
does not pass through or over the implant. At the
current entry and exit points into and from the
bio-tissue to the implant, current concentration
may cause irreparable internal burns.

Safety devices

WARNING: Safety circuit switches off in case
of output error caused by the unit
Deviations from the setpoint of the respective HF
output that has been set are corrected by the
unit. An independent safety circuit monitors the
power output and switches it off if proper cutting
or coagulation is no longer ensured.
Monitoring the activation time
With patient application, the HF generator is only
activated briefly when used as prescribed. The
activation time of the HF generator is therefore
monitored. If the maximum activation time is
exceeded, this is indicated by the error message
A-1C on the display. The power output is then
switched off. This safety circuit reduces damage
resulting from unintended activation of the elec-
trodes. The maximum activation time is limited to
99 seconds on delivery. Under 'Application
Settings' you can select 'unlimited' or a specific
value between 0 and 99 seconds.
Note: Continuous activation can cause irrepara-
ble damage to the unit.

En el caso de pacientes con implantes metáli-
cos eléctricamente conductivos se debe procu-
rar, que en todas las aplicaciones de cirugía de
AF, el flujo o la vía de corriente de alta frecuen-
cia no pase a través o sobre el implante. En el
lugar de salida y entrada de corriente del tejido
biológico al implante se pueden producir irrepa-
rables quemaduras internas por la concentra-
ción de corriente.
Dispositivos de seguridad
CUIDADO: Desconexión de seguridad en
caso de dosificación errónea del aparato
Las divergencias respecto del valor teórico que
pudieran presentar los parámetros de salida de
AF ajustados se regulan desde el aparato. Una
desconexión de seguridad independiente con-
trola la emisión de potencia y la desconecta si
ya no pueden garantizarse corte o la coagula-
ción correctas.
Control de la duración de activación
Al utilizarlo con el paciente, el generador de AF
solamente se activa durante breves períodos de
tiempo. La duración de la conexión del aparato
de AF se supervisa por ello constantemente. Si
se supera la duración prevista de conexión, esto
se indica mediante el mensaje de error A-1C y
se interrumpe el suministro de potencia. Esta
desconexión de seguridad sirve para reducir el
peligro de lesiones derivadas de una activación
involuntaria de los electrodos. La limitación del
tiempo máximo de activación al suministrar el
aparato es de 99 segundos. Un ajuste específi-
co se puede efectuar mediante "Ajustes de apli-
cación", en un margen entre uno y 99 segundos
y de forma "ilimitada".
Nota: En caso de activación ilimitada se puede
deteriorar el aparato de manera irreparable.
