Note:
The FIP-100/FIP-200 has long ejector levers. When you remove an MIM from slot 1
of the FIP-100/FIP-200, make sure that your hand does not intervene with the right
ejector lever of the FIP-100/FIP-200.
To protect the removed MIM, place it in an antistatic bag.
If you do not install a new MIM in the slot, install a blank panel to prevent dust from
entering the chassis. For how to install blank panels, refer to section 8.6 "Installing
and Removing a Blank Panel" on page 8-12.
8.11 Inserting and Removing a CF Card
8.11.1 CF Card and Slot

8.11.2 Installing a CF Card
Follow these steps to install a CF card:
1)
Check whether the CF card LED is blinking. If yes, the system is accessing the CF
card. Proceed with the next step after the LED stops blinking.
2)
Press the CF card eject button in and make sure it does not project from the panel.
3)
Insert the CF card into the slot and push it all the way in until it is firmly seated.
