3.4 Setting the heating/
cooling mode
The BeSMART is default set to heat-
ing mode.
In heating mode, the BeSMART ac-
tivates a request for heat when the
room temperature is below the set
temperature.
In cooling mode, the BeSMART
activates an ON request (where
there is a cooling system) when the
room temperature is above the set
temperature.
From the HOME screen, press the
SET/PROGRAM button to open the
user menu.

Press the FORWARD
button to select the field HEATING/
COOLING.

Press the SET/PROG button to set.
Press the UP
to select the desired mode.
IN=WINTER
Heating mode.
SU=SUMMER
Cooling mode.
or BACK
Press the SET/PROG button to save
and return to the programming menu,
press ESC/MODE to save and exit
the programming menu, or wait 30
seconds to automatically save the
value and return to the HOME screen.
