You can perform different tests on one or more DLCIs, such
as transmitting and receiving frames, looping DLCI frames
and testing CIR values. This section tells you how to select
and perform the different tests and how to display and
understand test results.

About Test Mode

In Test Mode you can set up and stop and start tests for one
or more DLCIs. To access Test Mode :
• Choose the F5 Test function key (for example, when
the DLCI Management window is displayed) or select
the Test option which appears on various menus. The
Test Results/Status window is displayed.
This window displays the current test configuration and
results, if any, for the currently selected DLCI. If there is
no test currently configured for the DLCI No Test
Configured is displayed. If there are no results for this
DLCI No Test Results Available is displayed.

Note
You cannot perform tests on the Management Channel
(DLCI zero or 1023).
