• Highlight Line Error Rate and press ENTER to display
a sub-menu of available error types. Select the rate at
which errors are injected - these are shown in the
following table :

The error rates available depend on the error type you have
chosen.
• Choose Inject Single or Start Injection (depending on
what is selected in Line Error Rate) from the BERT
Inject menu to start injecting errors.
• Exit the sub-menus.
• If you are injecting more than a single error, choose
Stop Injection to stop.

The F5 function key toggles between Inject Single and
Start Injection depending on the Line Error Rate
selected.
