The stop and taillights are on the same circu its as the dome and panel
li ghts. Therefore, if at anytime the interior lights do not operate,
c.:ht'c.:k the outside lights to determine if the fuse has failed.
Panel Lighting
The br ightness orthe instrument panel light in g can be regulated by
rotating the headl ight sw itch in either d irection.
Turn Signal with Lane Change Feature
For chftngi ng Janes. or when mak ing a gradua l turn, the lever must
be held in the " lane change" position. It will return to
a
neutral
posit ion when released.
The fully engaged position is for use when making
a
norma l turn.
The signal will remain o n until the normal turn is completed or until
the lever is returned to neu tral by hand.

not flash. check for a defective ouside lamp bulb. If the indicator
lamp fa il s to light when the lever is moved it would sugges t th<:lt the
fuse or indicator bulb is defective.
Brake System Warning Light
The dual braking sys tem prov ides emergency brak in g capability in
the event ofa fai lure to

po rtion of th e hydraulic system. Failureof

If
eq uipped
with disc brakes, the light will stay on after correcting the fai lu re. A
heavy brake pedal appl icatio n is necessa ry to lUrn the light off.
If brake failure is indicated,

r epair is nccessar:y. Con-
tinued openltion of the car in this condition is dangerolls.
The light bu lb should be checked frequently by turning the ignition
key to the "on" po sition with the parking brake engaged.

Hazard Warning Flasher
The llashc r switch is on the right side of the steering col umn, just
behind the stee ring wheel. Pull out the flasher sw itch a nd the front
and rear directional signa ls will llash intermittently . This is an
emergency warning sys tem < md is not intended for use when th e car
is in mot ion.
