PandaBoard 4500
To configure the OMAP4 LCD peripheral drive for the DLP LightCrafter 4500 24-bit RGB input, perform
the following changes to the boot script. The boot script, boot.scr, is used by U-Boot.

Set the DVI as the default output by adding the following entry to boot.scr:
– omapfb.mode=dvi omapdss.def_disp=dvi

Set the desired resolution fro the DLP LightCrafter 4500 output by adding one of the following entries
to boot.scr:
– omapfb.mode=dvi:912x1140MR-24@60
– omapfb.mode=dvi:1280x800MR-24@60

Generate the boot.scr:
– mkimage -A arm -T script -C none -n "Boot Image" -d boot.script boot.scr

Copy the generated uImage and boot.scr in the boot partition of the SD card.
Make the modules:
•
Make CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabi- ARCH=arm INSTALL_MOD_PATH=<path_of_modules>
modules_install
Copy the 'modules' folder from the path given in the previous command to the \lib folder on secondary
partition.
