Function description

Vacuum supply system

The pellets are transported from the room discharge connector or the pellet silo into
the boiler pellet hopper via a vacuum system.
Supply process
If the charge motor is running, the time
that the motor is operational is captured.
This time enables a calculation as to the
amount of pellets that have been con-
sumed and when the next supply proc-
ess should be started. In addition, the
pellet sensor inside the pellet hopper will
confirm that a new pellet supply is
required.
If individual supply times have been con-
figured at the programming unit, then a
supply process can only be initiated
within the enabled times. If required, the
pellet sensor can initiate a supply proc-
ess at the end of the enabled time to fill
the pellet hopper once more.
If the supply process has been initiated,
the vacuum module is initially enabled to
remove pellets that remain inside the
pipework from the previous supply proc-
ess.
130
Afterwards, the cycling operation for the
discharge from the pellet store starts.
During this cycle, the vacuum module
and the discharge motor are regularly
started and subsequently stopped again.
This fills the vacuum container (in the top
of the pellet hopper) which then empties
into the hopper.
Once the pellet sensor inside the pellet
hopper recognises that the hopper is full,
the vacuum module remains switched on
for a certain run-on time, followed by a
flushing time to remove all remaining pel-
lets from the pipework.
This concludes the supply process.
