When an Event Timer begins, if the receiver is in standby it will tune into the selected channel, if the receiver
is on and tuned into a channel, it will change to the selected channel. When the event or programme ends
the receiver will automatically go into standby.
Scheduling a message (Timer Service = Message)
Timer Number: event timer number (1-8)

Timer Mode: either Off or specify the repeat rage for the memo
2.
Timer Service: Message
3.
Wakeup Message: select one of the following options
4.
a. Birthday
b. Anniversary
c. General
Wakeup Date: use the number buttons to set the date
5.
On Time: use the number buttons to set the time of the event
6.
Duration: not used in this mode

When a message event starts, if the receiver is in standby it will be turned on so that it can show the
message and will have to be turned off manually.
3.3.3.3 Sleep Timer Menu
The Sleep Timer menu can be used to set a countdown time in minutes before the receiver is automatically
goes into standby.
Select one of the options: 10, 30, 60, 90,120 minutes.
3.3.4 OSD Setting Menu
The OSD Setting menu can be used to customise the OSD (On Screen Display) aspect and certain menu
settings. The following options are available:
Menu Style: customise the menu background colour (five style options)

Subtitle Display: decide whether to show (On) or hide (Off) subtitles if transmitted by the channel
2.
OSD Timeot: define how many seconds the information banners are shown
3.
OSD Transparency: set the menu transparency to clear (10% - 40%) or blank (Off)
4.
Load Default OSD Setting: press OK to restore the factory OSD default settings

3.3.5 Parental Lock Menu
The Parental Lock menu functions can be used to create safety locks for the Installation menu, for certain
important functions and for channels. The lock is opened by a four-figure PIN code or password.
CAUTION!!!
The factory set password is 0 0 0 0.
If you have changed the password and forgotten it, use the universal code 3 3 2 7 to access this menu and
set a new password.
This menu offers the following functions:
Menu Lock: select Yes to lock access to the Installation menu and its functions or No to allow free

Channel Lock: select Yes to lock access to channels you have flagged in the Channel menu or No
2.
or allow free access
New Password: use the number buttons to enter a new password
3.
Confirm Password: confirm the new password you have entered
4.
3.3.6 LNB Power Menu
This menu function enables (On) or exclude (Off) the power to the LNB converter of your antenna plant.
CAUTION!!!
Modification of the LNB Power parameter must only be carried out by a specialist since it could create
problems in receiver operation.
