TELE System
CAUTION!!!
The connection diagram below is provided merely as a guideline and is not compulsory, since:
Factors such as the quantity and type of separate appliances, the type and number of RF and SCART
sockets on each of them, and the strength of the signals received, may make other connection
sequences give better results (e.g. with very weak signals it may be better to connect the receiver
directly into the TV wall socket).
In complex configurations, involving both terrestrial and SAT receivers, DVD players, video recorders,
etc, it may be extremely complicated or even impossible to make all the appliances work properly at the
same time without using additional accessories (e.g. commuters, multiple Scart adapters, etc). A typical
situation is when you are recording the terrestrial receiver signal on VCR, while watching alternatively a
DVD and a satellite programme on the TV. In these cases the plant must be installed by a specialist
technician.
1.3.2 TV and Video recorder (VCR) connections
CAUTION!!!
When recording a video do not change the receiver audio volume by its remote control, since this will affect
the recording. Always keep the receiver audio volume constant and only change the TV volume by the TV
remote control.
