Steps for Installing a Lisp Sysout from the Network

You should be in the base state, with the bouncing white
box on your screen. Press the left mouse button to invoke
the window labeled Lisp System Tool.
From an NS Server:
a. The system tool parameters begin about a third
of the way down the window. Move the cursor over
the Device: parameter entry NS-FS and press the
left mouse button. NS-FS will become highlighted.
b. Move the cursor to the next line which has File:
as its first parameter. This is where you will enter
the Information the system tool needs to fetch your
Lisp sysout. For an NS server, the entry you type
would look similar to the following:

<
Lisp>Koto>8asics> full.sysout
c. Move the cursor over the Volume Menu:
parameter and press the left mouse button. Type
just the number 2 which will be added to the word
Lisp. After you finish typing, the Volume Menu:
parameter should look like:
Volume Menu: Lisp2

Skip the next two lines. Complete information
concerning their meaning and use IS contained In
chapter 7, System Tools.
eo Move the cursor over the User: parameter and
press the I eft mouse button. Type you r name.
