APPENDIX C
How to Load From the Library Floppies
Some modules in the Library consist of several files;
some also require for their operation that other
modules be present in the environment. When you
load the "main" file of a module, the system
attempts to automatically load all the required
subsidiary files.
However, when loading Library
files from floppies, all the subsidiary files may not
be located on a single floppy. If some of the
subsidiary files are located on a different floppy
than the main file, then the system is unable to find
them.
The loading process will stop '!Vith a "File
Not Found" error and display a break window. To
avoid this. error, you must explicitly load the
subsidiary files, then the main file.
This appendix is divided into three sections.
The
first two sections provide you with step-by-step
procedures for loading the Tedit and Grapher
Library modules from floppies.
The third section consists of a table of Library
modules and files. For each Library module, one or
more modules (indicated by an plus sign (+» or
single files (indicated by floppy number) are listed.
If you wish to load the module in the left column,
first load the files or modules listed in the right
column, in the order given (unless they are already
loaded) and then load the module listed in the left
column.
For those modules that require the TEdit module,
follow the instructions for loading TEdit, load any
other subsidiary files and then load the main file.
The easiest way to ensure that a file is only loaded
once is to use the function FILESLOAD, which
automatically appends the extension "DCOM" to
the file name, and checks to see if it is already
loaded (in which case it does nothing).
