The batch register is referred to in the meter STATUS report
(subtotal and subtotal of items; see paragrah "Meter report").
The batch register is useful for counting the total number
of pieces and postage printed when doing presort mail.
Each of these registers may be reset (zeroed) separately by
pressing the
