MAINTENANCE.
1 Camshaft gear
2 Engine timing pin
3 Gear housing
Be sure to disengage the pin after locating TDC.
Valve clearance intake: 0-254 mm
exhaust: 0-508 mm
Check/set valves with engine cold - below 60°C
NOTE: The clearance is correct when some resitance is 'felt'
when the feeler gauge is slipped between the valve stem
and the rocker lever.
With the engine in TDC position, check and adjust the following
valve clearances.
Intake (I) cylinders: 1,2
Exhaust (E) cylinders: 1,3
