IPedge Solutions Overview
®
The IPedge solution is an advanced pure IP virtual server that provides sophisticated business
communication features. The IPedge Virtual Server - Turnkey performs call processing, voice
mail, unified messaging, media processing that includes conferencing and paging, meet-me
conferencing with web collaboration, centralized management, UCedge / Call Manager unified
communications, and more. The IPedge Virtual Server uses Linux / CentOS for the base operating
system that provides a high level of scalability and security.
The IPedge solution is designed for customers who want to deploy on an all IP network
infrastructure to realize the savings of managing a single network.
Networking between IPedge servers and/or Strata CIX systems is enabled via IPedge Net using
one IP address.
The IPedge solution is a software centric Unified Communications platform that is easy to install
and is available in three different sizes depending on the number of users, applications, and
conferencing needs.

As part of the IPedge Virtual Server solution, Toshiba is using servers supplied by Dell® –
OptiPlex 9020 Micro (9020m), PowerEdge R220 and PowerEdge R430 servers. These servers do
not carry the Toshiba name.
